The summer months always go by so quickly and often during these times, I feel a sense of FOMO for not being able to work within a school district. The moments leading up to the start of school are filled with strategizing and preparations for that all-important first day – there’s something special about new beginnings and the opportunities that await us.
This summer has been a whirlwind for your NAPT leaders and our professional staff. We’ve been on the road, attending state conferences and key partner meetings! While we can’t be everywhere at once, we certainly made every effort to be present. Our goal is to represent our members well, and to do this, we need to see you, talk to you, and understand the challenges and issues you face!
I continue to be overwhelmed by the hospitality and welcome we receive. Our yellow force is truly amazing. I do not know of any other industry or profession that has the passion, motivation and heart that student transportation does. It is truly an honor to meet so many of you and to hear your stories!
We hope you will enjoy this issue! As always, our team has gone out of their way to provide you with excellent articles and valuable information. You might even notice some changes and new features! We aspire to create a publication that you will use, enjoy and share with your colleagues!
The NAPT and the NAPT Foundation are diligently preparing for ACTS25! The Boards have been working hard to review and plan workshops that will give you information you need to know! Our PDS offerings are looking fantastic, and our general sessions are shaping up to be cannot-miss opportunities. Plus, there will be insights into the State of the Industry, Federal Updates, and much more! You definitely won’t want to miss joining us in Grand Rapids!
