Welcome to our newest edition of School BUSRide! We are so glad that you are a subscriber and a NAPT VIP! This issue is packed with great articles and important information.
As summer approaches, we recognize that your work never takes a break! The conclusion of the school year brings a flurry of field trips and activities, quickly transitioning into summer school preparations and gearing up for the 2025-2026 academic year. I often chuckle when people suggest that transportation is merely a 9–10 month job!
While I recognize that the demands on your time are significant, your NAPT leadership and staff hope that you will take time this summer for some breathing room and self-care. Just the ability to get away for a few days and enjoy your life or families can improve our attitudes and our perspectives. We become more effective leaders when we are healthy, happy and motivated!
NAPT and the NAPT Foundation are on fire this summer! We are deep into plans for ACTS25 in Grand Rapids! Please register and check out the program! It is going to be amazing. I think it will truly be one of our best programs ever. We are also working on elections, bylaws, awards, upgrading our PDS and Certification programs and general association and foundation updates! Please keep an eye on your email and in our publications for updates!
On behalf of the leadership team and your dedicated staff, we extend our heartfelt thanks for another outstanding school year! You faced challenges head-on, served your district and students, and worked tirelessly to ensure smooth student transportation. What you accomplished each day truly mattered. Your contributions mean a lot to us! We are proud to represent and serve you!
