The Significance of the New NAPT Logo and Branding Guide

This February, you will begin to see our new logo featured on our website and throughout all communication channels, as part of our rebranding efforts and the previously announced NAPT Under Construction initiative.

The newly designed logo and rebranded colors will preserve the essence of the former logo, showcasing NAPT’s strong authority while signifying a fresh chapter in our evolution. The design incorporates familiar elements for continuity, while also introducing realistic touches that reflect our transformative journey. 

Take a deeper look: 

• The illustrated lines symbolize the road ahead, highlighting how we are eagerly embracing what the future holds.

• The deep colors pay homage to our rich history and are appropriately named school bus yellow and textbook navy, focusing on the important connection between the school bus and the school building.

In addition to redesigning our association’s primary logo, we have refreshed all related logos, including those for our Professional Development Series, State Affiliate Partner, and Business Partner (both logo and emblem). We have also updated our fonts and secondary colors. All of these resources will be available via a branding guide, in the members-only section of our website for our members and business partners to utilize as they see fit.

By sharing our branding guidelines with our stakeholders, we are ensuring consistent brand representation, while maintaining a strong brand identity. Our goal is to empower each of you to integrate these new elements seamlessly into your own communications, enhancing the overall cohesion of our message. We believe that this unified approach will strengthen our community and elevate the impact of our initiatives.

Our decision to redesign the logo was driven by a desire to reflect the dynamic growth and forward momentum of NAPT. As we continue to evolve and expand our reach, it was important to create a visual identity that aligns with our vision for the future. The new logo stands as a strong representation of our dedication to innovation and our eagerness to seize new opportunities. It is designed to inspire confidence and foster engagement among our members, partners, and the wider community, while also reinforcing our position as an industry leader.

Our logo was completed in December, but we chose to reveal it in February, during Love the Bus Month. This timing was intentional, as it allowed us to align the unveiling with a period that celebrates the importance of school transportation and the people who make it possible.  Love the Bus Month was the perfect backdrop to show our updated look; by introducing our new branding during this special month, we highlight our commitment to enhancing the experience of school bus transportation for school communities across the United Sates and Canada. We hope that our refreshed branding will inspire enthusiasm and pride amongst our members and friends.

As we move forward, and continue working through our NAPT Under Construction imitative, we are excited to see how our updated visual identity will resonate with all those connected to NAPT. We are eager to hear feedback from our members, partners, and stakeholders on how the new branding reflects our shared goals and values. Our hope is that the refreshed look not only captures the essence of our mission but also energizes everyone involved in the critical work of advancing school transportation. By embracing these changes together, we aim to foster a greater sense of unity and purpose within the NAPT community.
