NAPT CEO & Executive Director, Molly McGee Hewitt, PhD, CAE, and members of the NAPT and Foundation Board provided oversight during the association’s Annual Business Meeting.
The meeting provided reports covering financials and nominations, as well as an association update from McGee Hewitt.
Melody Coniglio, CDPT, CSNT, Director of Transportation for West Geauga Local Schools (OH) ran unopposed in this year’s NAPT election; her reelection was finalized during the NAPT Annual Business Meeting. At the meeting, there were no nominations from the floor, hearing none, a motion was entertained by Katrina Morris, Executive Director for the Michigan Association for Pupil Transportation, and a Region 3 member, to reelect Melody for a second three-year term as Region 3 Director. The motion was seconded by numerous region 3 members.
Melody will represent NAPT members in Illinois, Indiana, Manitoba, Michigan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ohio, Prince Edward, Wisconsin.
“It is wonderful to see Melody reelected as Region 3 Director where she will continue to build on the momentum gained during her first term where she prioritized open communication that encouraged her constituents the ability to voice their concerns and ideas, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration. As she embarks on her next term, we can anticipate continued progress and innovative solutions to the opportunities that lie ahead for association,” said McGee Hewitt.
